Project: Bondi Pavilion
Client: Waverley Council
Builder: Buildcorp
Architect: Tonkin Zulaikha Greer (TZG)

Cunneen Signs proudly delivered a comprehensive signage package for the Bondi Pavilion redevelopment, supporting the transformation of this much-loved heritage site into a vibrant cultural and community hub.

Working closely with Buildcorp and TZG, we developed and installed signage solutions that balanced contemporary functionality with sensitivity to the Pavilion’s historic character. Freestanding directional totems and wall-mounted signage provide clear, intuitive navigation throughout the precinct, while custom glazing graphics and mask-and-spray treatments contribute subtle visual interest without disrupting sightlines or architectural intent.

Fabricated entry lettering and solid aluminium cut-out lettering mark key thresholds with a strong, durable finish, reinforcing the Pavilion’s identity and complementing the surrounding materials. Amenities signage was integrated to support visitor flow, and large-format flag signs offer a bold visual statement at key entry points.

Every element was crafted to endure the rigours of the coastal environment while maintaining a clean, cohesive aesthetic. This project demonstrates Cunneen Signs’ ability to deliver high-quality, site-responsive signage that enhances the visitor experience while respecting the cultural and architectural significance of the location.
