Cunneen Signs was proud to deliver a premium, fully customised signage package for Kokoda Residences in Waitara—a contemporary retirement living project by Vasey, completed in 2022.

The signage scheme combined quality materials with carefully considered design details. Over 100 internal room and directional signs featured custom Australian hardwood timber finishes, laser-cut characters, and subtle illumination to ensure clarity and consistency throughout the development. Externally, a 5-metre-long fabricated entry shroud with halo-illuminated brass lettering creates a bold and welcoming arrival point. The main entrance continues this language with matching fabricated, halo-illuminated brass letters. Additional works included freestanding directional plinths, as well as functional signage for carparks, and service areas, ensuring a complete and cohesive solution across the site.

This project exemplifies how thoughtful signage can elevate the built environment and support both functionality and aesthetic intent.
