Project: Wangal Park
Client: Burwood Council
Cunneen Signs partnered with Burwood Council to deliver a cohesive and visually striking signage package for Wangal Park, designed to support both wayfinding and meaningful engagement with the site.
Custom-designed freestanding entry signs and blade signs provide clear, practical navigation throughout the park. The freestanding signs feature a distinctive design element—Burwood Council’s logo expertly formed from rolled flatbar—showcasing our precision metalworking capabilities. Each sign is constructed with a robust aluminium frame, powdercoated for durability and seamlessly integrated with the park’s landscape.

To ensure long-term clarity and impact, premium-quality graphics were digitally printed and finished with anti-graffiti coating. Blade signs offer simple directional cues to key locations, while detailed park maps and safety information help visitors move confidently through the space.
Interpretive panels, built to the same high fabrication standards, share the story of the park’s history and highlight the surrounding natural environment—including native flora and fauna. These signs encourage deeper connection with the space while maintaining visual harmony across all signage elements.
This project reflects Cunneen Signs’ commitment to combining functional design with expert craftsmanship to deliver high-quality signage that enhances public spaces through clarity, durability, and storytelling.
