At Cunneen Signs, we specialise in delivering signage that respects heritage environments while meeting modern luxury standards. For Capella Sydney, housed within a historic 1912 sandstone building in the heart of Sydney’s CBD, we crafted and installed an extensive signage package designed to complement the building’s timeless materials and refined interiors.
Working within a heritage-listed environment presented unique challenges, from protecting delicate sandstone and marble surfaces to ensuring every detail aligned with strict conservation standards. Our team crafted bronze-finished room numbers, custom door signage, and subtle wayfinding elements that balance clarity with understated elegance.
The package also included in-ground castings in both brass and bronze, along with custom stonework, all fabricated and installed with the highest attention to detail. Each sign was produced with exacting attention to detail and installed carefully to preserve the building’s integrity. The result is a cohesive signage system that supports wayfinding and enriches the guest experience without disrupting the building’s architectural character.
