At Cunneen Signs, we’re proud to be the only sign company in Australia with an in-house foundry. This unique capability allows us to create custom plaques and coat of arms with unmatched craftsmanship, precision, and flexibility.

We specialise in traditional sand casting and can cast in aluminium, bronze, and brass to suit your project’s aesthetic and durability requirements. In addition to casting, we also offer high-quality engraving in brass, aluminium, stainless steel, and timber, giving you a broad range of finishes and styles.

From small commemorative plates to large, statement-making installations, we’ve tackled projects of all shapes and sizes. Our largest single pour to date was a plaque measuring 525 x 2187 x 8mm thick. However, our team is continually striving to push boundaries and explore new possibilities, creating innovative and exciting pieces that showcase the very best of our craft. Whether your plaque needs to be recessed into a footpath, mounted on a wall, or positioned high above as a building’s coat of arms, we have the skills, equipment, and experience to make it happen.

For public installations, safety matters as much as aesthetics. That’s why we can provide slip resistance certificates for our cast bronze plaques, ensuring compliance and peace of mind for high-traffic areas. Our team manages every step in-house from design through to casting, finishing, and installation, ensuring you receive a product that’s as durable as it is impressive.
